Sr Staff Product Manager, Data Security Products

We are looking for an experienced Product  Management leader with proven Cyber Security PM experience to join us to craft our strategy and roadmap for Cohesity’s Data Security Product line. At Cohesity, we are aggressively taking market share from the legacy players in a $10B+ market, and you’ll be instrumental in driving that growth.

This is a pivotal position that will shape the data security product line roadmap of Cohesity Data Cloud as we deliver multiple services in various deployment models to enterprise customers across different industry verticals and geographies. As Sr Staff Product Manager of Data Security, you will:

  • Lead product strategy and execution for one or more products in our core Data Security pillar
  • Lead the formulation and execution of the Data Security product roadmap working closely with our Design and Engineering teams.
  • Define the strategy and drive execution for key “Data Security Alliance” partnerships in your product area. This involves identifying potential technology partnership and GTM partnering opportunities and working closely with business development to create and bolster technical and GTM Data Security partnerships 
  • Be the voice of the customer - understand customer needs and be their champion. With a constant pulse on the market, customers, competitors, and technology trends, you will be uniquely positioned to discover and develop market-leading offerings.
  • Participate in educating the larger market on who Cohesity is and where we are going with our product portfolio, including press and analyst briefings.
  • Maintain an understanding of the larger market that our products exist within, ensuring roadmaps, pricing, and position are well-positioned to be successful.

You will be partnering closely with:

  • The VP of Product Management (Data & Platform Security), to iterate and execute on the long-term direction and strategy for the Cohesity Data Cloud Data Security pillar.
  • Other Product Managers responsible for Data & Platform Security as well as other services and apps delivered on the Cohesity Helios platform. You will have an opportunity to work with other like-minded high-energy, high-drive product managers who are passionate about both moving quickly and being customer-centric.
  • An industry-leading engineering team who are hungry to build market-leading, well-validated solutions for our customers. 
  • User Experience team to shape the customer experience and debate the art of the possible with our products and how we best support our customer’s journey.
  • Various Business Development leaders, working closely with several dozens of alliance partners.
  • Our talented and growing Go-to-Market team, including our Marketing, Customer Support, and Sales teams.

We are looking for proven product leaders with the following credentials: 

  • You’ve 10+ years of product management experience in a technology company, preferably enterprise B2B, driving security features, services, certifications, or controls.
  • You are well-versed and have a solid understanding of the cyber security market in one or more of the following areas: Malware protection, Security Orchestration, and automation, Data Loss Prevention, Insider Threat Management, and a good understanding of Machine learning models that drive these technologies. 
  • You are well-versed in requirement writing, UX mock-up development, business case analysis, SaaS metrics, operational reporting, and other core PM skills. 
  • You have familiarity with developing ecosystem integrations with one or more solutions such as UEBA, SOAR, SIEM, DLP and other technologies that bolster security.
  • You have familiarity with SaaS and on-premise solutions, can work in a lean and agile fashion, can deal with ambiguity, and have a passion for driving innovation for seamless customer experience.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and solve complex problems with available resources.

In-Office Expectations

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
