Job Summary
NK Securities Research Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a seasoned, strategic, and people-centric Vice President of Human Resources to lead our HR function across multiple geographies. This role demands a dynamic leader who can shape the HR strategy, streamline processes, and cultivate a high-performance, inclusive, and employee-first culture. You will drive end-to-end HR operations, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and cultural transformation to support rapid growth and long-term organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts across India, Singapore, and other international offices, including both lateral and campus hiring.
- Build and execute comprehensive hiring strategies for specialized roles like software engineers, quant researchers and traders.
- Develop a proactive talent pipeline through close collaboration with internal stakeholders, external headhunters, and strategic use of platforms like LinkedIn, job boards, and professional networks.
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality candidate experience from sourcing through onboarding, tailored to the needs of both local and international markets.
Employee Engagement & Lifecycle Management
- Oversee the complete employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, professional development, and exit processes.
- Implement data-driven employee engagement initiatives to boost morale, retention, and productivity.
- Conduct regular 1:1 sync-ups and team meetings to foster open communication, gather actionable feedback, and promptly address employee concerns.
- Establish structured onboarding, mentorship, and succession planning programs to reduce ramp-up times and build institutional knowledge.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability through structured performance reviews and goal-setting frameworks.
Process, Policy, and Compliance Management
- Design and implement scalable, transparent HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local labor laws in India, Singapore, and other jurisdictions as needed.
- Streamline operational processes such as attendance, leave management, and payroll to improve efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Oversee compliance audits, risk management, and crisis resolution to safeguard the organizationβs legal and ethical standards.
- Lead HR technology transformation, leveraging analytics and automation to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
Learning, Development, and Cultural Transformation
- Develop and deliver high-impact training programs that emphasize ownership, accountability, and leadership at all levels.
- Implement continuous learning initiatives for skill enhancement and career progression, tailored to both technical and non-technical teams.
- Foster a culture of transparency, innovation, and high performance, aligned with the companyβs growth ambitions.
- Sensitize employees on workplace etiquette, confidentiality, and professional ethics, ensuring alignment with company values.
Employer Branding & Communication
- Serve as the public face of HR, representing the companyβs culture and values on platforms like LinkedIn and in industry forums.
- Drive strategic employer branding initiatives to position the company as a destination for top talent.
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to craft impactful communication strategies for both internal and external audiences.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- MBA or Masterβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Extensive experience managing international HR operations, including talent acquisition, compliance, and culture building across APAC, US, or European markets.
Skills & Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulatory requirements in India and international markets.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills, capable of influencing and inspiring cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical mindset, with experience in HR metrics, data-driven decision-making, and strategic workforce planning.
- Proficiency in HR tech platforms, data analytics, and performance management systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with a focus on relationship building.
