Job Description

 

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Associate to support day-to-day HR operations and contribute to a seamless employee experience. This role will report to the Senior HR Business Partner and will play a key part in ensuring the smooth execution of processes across the employee lifecycle, while helping to maintain accuracy, compliance and engagement in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in day-to-day HR operations and a variety of administrative tasks across the employee lifecycle.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes by coordinating with new joiners, internal teams and ensuring all documentation and logistics are complete.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR systems, ensuring data integrity across platforms.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (eg, IT, Admin, etc) as needed to ensure smooth execution of HR processes and a seamless employee experience.
  • Proactively identify and address gaps in employee documentation, process adherence or data hygiene.
  • Help organise and facilitate employee engagement initiatives such as events, surveys or other such engagement activities.
  • Support payroll and benefits administration by coordinating inputs and ensuring timely updates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in an HR or People function, preferably within a fast-paced technology or startup environment.
  • Knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written - with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically.
  • Able to prioritise complex workloads, manage time effectively and work well under pressure. 
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Willing to take the initiative and provide suggestions and ideas to contribute to the success of the role/team.
  • Proficiency in GSuite and MS Office.
  • Experience with HR tools such as Zoho People, Lattice or similar platforms is a strong plus.
