Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience in taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in consumer, games industries.
  • Experience in Ads, user-acquisition, or game investigative products.
  • Experience working on building or running apps or games.
  • Experience in identity management.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The Play Loyalty team focuses on building relationships between users, Play and the developers who create games on our platforms. As part of our plan, we aim to drive substantial growth in our business by building the tools, experiences, and infrastructure to help developers supercharge their experiences across Android and beyond. The team own and run services that enable games to communicate with Play and build value by enhancing gamer’s journeys and the effectiveness of our products for developers.

As a Product Manager at Google, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. The end goal will be to match you with the team that best aligns with your interests, experience, and where you will have the most impact.

  • Develop a forward-looking goals and roadmap for developer services, collaborating with Play Gateway Server (PGS), Loyalty, and global Developer Partnerships, to meet evolving consumer and developer game product needs.
  • Drive the creation of solutions that empower Play and Google partners to deliver engaging user experiences.
  • Lead a cross-functional team (e.g., engineering, UX) to onboard existing products and launch new ones, from concept to global scale, including go-to-market strategies.
  • Provide regular performance reports to executive management, and conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify user opportunities, pain points, and product effectiveness.
  • Foster cross-functional relationships (e.g., engineering, UX, analytics, research) and collaborate with other Loyalty, Play, and Google Product Managers (PMs) to deliver integrated features.
