A day in the life
The Selling Partner Abuse EMEA team covers abuse and fraud in Amazon EU and Middle East stores. We are looking for an experienced Program Manager or Risk Manager to proactively investigate complex incidents of suspected intellectual property infringement and product abuse. You will work closely with brands, sellers and vendors and implement policies, tools and technology innovations to protect customers, to defend intellectual property, to protect brands, and to ensure compliance with Amazon policies. You will partner with numerous teams at Amazon including Brand Registry, Product Safety, Perfect Order Experience, Selling Partner Performance, Retail and Seller Services. You will interact with Amazon leadership on complex investigations and you will improve the way Amazon protects customers from product abuse.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent
- Experience handling confidential information
- Extensive experience in process improvement methodologies and techniques, including:
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Proficient in utilizing tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and Pareto analysis to identify and address the underlying causes of issues.
- Gemba Walks: Skilled in conducting on-site observations to gain firsthand insights into processes, identify inefficiencies, and engage with frontline employees.
- Lean Six Sigma: Well-versed in applying DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology to optimize processes and reduce variability.- Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials
- Experience with SQL and Excel
- Experience in program requirements definition, together with data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements
- Fluency in English is required for this position.
- In addition to English, candidates nice to have proficiency in at least one of the following languages: French, German or Spanish
