About the Team

The Member Accession Marketing Team (India) plays a critical role in driving Tide’s growth in the Indian market by acquiring and onboarding new members from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The team tailors marketing strategies to engage potential members, guides them through seamless onboarding, and ensures they are well-equipped to leverage Tide’s suite of financial and administrative tools. By creating localized campaigns, building strong relationships, and leveraging data for continuous improvement, the team fosters long-term member engagement, ensuring Tide becomes the go-to platform for Indian SMEs.

What we’re looking for:
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven individual with a strong background in the credit card industry to join us as a Partnerships Lead/Head (National Sales Lead/Head). The ideal candidate will have proven experience in credit card sales, particularly through distribution channels such as DSA, telecalling teams, and FOS. This role involves driving the sales and adoption of Tide Cards (PPI/Rupay & Expense Cards) across various regions, establishing and nurturing key partnerships, and leading expansion efforts in new cities.

The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience in merchant onboarding, team building, and new city expansion. A strong background in P&L management, process improvement, and leading a national-level team is critical. You should have a comprehensive understanding of the credit card sales process and the ability to effectively manage and drive revenue growth within distribution channels.

This role requires a blend of business development, team leadership, and financial expertise. A deep understanding of the credit card business through channels like FOS, DSA, and online platforms is a must, with additional experience in partnership development, especially within the MSME sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales efforts for Tide Cards within the assigned region, utilizing distribution channels such as FOS, DSA, and online platforms
  • Identify and prospect potential partners , driving adoption within the MSME sector.
  • Manage the sales pipeline across various channels, ensuring effective lead generation, qualification, and conversion.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to onboard and activate partners, driving the adoption of Tide Cards within targeted channels.
  • Provide ongoing support to onboarded partners, ensuring they have the tools and resources to succeed.
  • Work closely with internal teams to develop and execute targeted marketing strategies for Tide card sales.
  • Track performance across all channels, identify opportunities for growth, and optimize strategies to increase Tide Cards adoption.
  • Address partner issues promptly and escalate them as needed for resolution.
  • Stay informed on competitive trends in the credit card industry and recommend strategies to optimize Tide Cards positioning.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Proven experience in the credit card industry, with a strong understanding of credit card sales processes, especially through distribution channels such as DSA, FOS, and telecalling teams.
  • Graduate/PG with at least 5+ years of experience in a credit card or payments-related business (preferably in prepaid card sales), with a total of 12+ years of overall work experience.
  • Experience in managing and building high-performing teams, with a focus on scaling operations and driving revenue.
  • Strong background in P&L management and process improvement within the credit card or fintech sector.
  • Passionate about contributing to a startup environment, with a keen interest in identifying new business opportunities and driving innovation in the credit card industry.
  • Creative and out-of-the-box thinker who consistently brings fresh ideas to the table.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships at all levels within the credit card ecosystem.
  • Ability to dive into fieldwork to understand market dynamics and customer needs at the grassroots level.
  • Results-oriented with strong attention to detail and a focus on achieving targets.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Strong interest or understanding of the Indian financial sector, especially in the credit card and fintech space.
