  • Experience leading technical programs with a focus on site reliability or software development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with Risk Management.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager within the AI, Security, Trust, and Resilience team, you will drive cross-functional programs of AI, security, trust, and resilience, ensuring customer-centered reliability at scale. You'll lead work groups, collaborate with leadership on strategic decisions, and define metrics to monitor program health.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Drive cross-functional programs in work groups that span multiple teams and manage stakeholders through communication and alignment.
  • Collaborate with leadership in key program decision making, including scope definition, requirements gathering, staffing, planning, execution and governance of programs.
  • Work with leadership and cross-functional partners to define and apply execution metrics to monitor the health of programs.
  • Develop cross-functional tools and processes to transform the operation of the organization, and streamline processes and drive improvements to deliver scale and efficiency.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with technical program managers functions across the AI, Security, Trust and Resilience team and the global SRE organization, sharing knowledge and experience to scale efforts.
