Business Analyst Team Lead

We’re looking for a Business Analyst Team Lead (hands-on)  to join our BI Finance Team and take ownership of BI initiatives within the finance domain. In this role, you will strategically design and implement advanced financial data models, oversee key data projects, and mentor analysts to drive in-depth analysis, improve financial operations, and generate actionable insights.

This is a senior role that requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with business stakeholders.

You will work closely with finance leaders, product & GTM stakeholders, and executive management to define and execute the analytics strategy that supports key business goals.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Leading the data team of the Finance group. Mentor and guide analysts, ensuring best practices are followed across the BI Finance team.
• Define, measure, and continuously refine key performance indicators (KPIs) to align with business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end financial data projects, including scoping, planning, and execution, ensuring delivery of high-impact results.
• Detect and deliver key insights across products and business units to support data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization.
• Oversee the development of reports, dashboards, and metrics, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and scalability.
• Act as a trusted advisor to finance and cross-functional teams, bridging the gap between data capabilities and business needs.
• Collaborate with senior management, strategy & finance teams, product managers, and R&D to build a robust analytics infrastructure and foster a data-driven culture.

About you:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data/Business Analyst, BI Developer, or a similar role – MUST.
• 2+ years of experience managing teams in analytics, business, finance, or other data domains.
• Extensive experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other BI tools (our team uses Tableau) – MUST.
• Deep knowledge of DWH methodologies, best practices, and modern data architectures.
• BA/BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management, Information Systems Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar background.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, including a deep understanding of finance domains, processes, KPIs, and data flows.
• Exceptional ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations to senior management.
• A demonstrated track record of collaboration with cross-functional teams, including finance, product, and GTM stakeholders.
