Key job responsibilities
This role bridges traditional UAT with modern automation practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
UAT Core Functions:
- Plan and execute UAT test cases based on business requirements and user stories.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and expected behaviors.
- Document and track defects, working closely with development teams for resolution.
- Validate business scenarios and workflows across multiple platforms.
- Create detailed test plans and acceptance criteria.
UAT Automation:
- Collaborate with technology team to design and implement automated UAT frameworks.
- Convert manual test cases to automated scripts where appropriate.
- Maintain and optimize the automated test suite.
- Create reusable test components and libraries
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline testing processes through automation.
- Establish metrics to measure testing efficiency and automation ROI.
- Train team members on testing tools and frameworks
- Balance manual and automated testing approaches for optimal coverage.- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
- At least one year of UAT experience using testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills.
- Project management skills.- Experience with testing HR technology solutions.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Exposure to Automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, TestComplete, or similar) a plus.
- Understanding of Programming/scripting languages
