The ideal candidate will be a creative and analytical problem solver who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, a collaborative leader to work with a dynamic network of Business and Finance partners, and an innovator to drive continuous improvement and automations in reporting of P&L's, headcount and Opex of the APB business across NA, EU and FE. The successful candidate will manage financial reporting, and analyses, collaborate actively with stakeholders to develop actionable insights during MEC and QBR reviews. They enjoy working with a diverse group of individuals, and have a proven ability to dive deep to solve complex business and finance problems.

Key job responsibilities
1. Improve the financial models used in Month close, MBR/QBRs.
2. Enable clear understanding of variance drivers across both revenue and cost lines, and present findings to senior leadership.
3. Actively collaborate with Finance partners across NA, EU and FE to both plan and report headcount and Opex.
4. Partner with stakeholders to facilitate adopting/implementing financial reporting solutions such as Fortune/Cognos/Coupa tools- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence- 5+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
