Job Description

Our vision is to be the universal symbol of trust, bringing consumers and businesses together through reviews. We are well on our way—but there’s still an exciting journey ahead. Join us at the heart of trust.

We're on the lookout for a Head of Video to define, lead and shape our global video strategy, driving operational excellence across production, and crafting compelling content that resonates with audiences and drives real impact across all channels.

This is a high-impact leadership role that sits within our in-house Studio team. You’ll set the direction for our video content globally, ensuring every frame reflects our brand, tells a meaningful story, and delivers measurable value. With creative vision and operational acumen, you’ll be responsible for establishing best-in-class production processes, managing external partners, and, over time, building and leading a small but mighty in-house team.

From powerful brand films and customer stories to agile social content and internal communications, you’ll bring consistency, creativity, and clarity to our video output - always with an eye on quality, efficiency, and results.

What you'll be doing:

  • Define and own our global video strategy across key channels including brand, social, product marketing, internal communications, and paid media.
  • Oversee the entire video production lifecycle — from ideation and scripting through to filming, post-production, and performance evaluation.
  • Shape and prioritise the video content roadmap by aligning with brand strategy, audience insights, and business objectives — always focusing on high-impact storytelling that drives measurable results.
  • Work directly with senior leaders, customers, and stakeholders - including our CEO and executive team — to capture authentic, high-impact stories on camera.
  • Manage and develop relationships with external freelancers and production partners, ensuring high standards and budget accountability across all projects.
  • Establish scalable workflows and clear operating models for video production, resourcing, and approval processes.
  • Maintain a sharp focus on creative excellence and brand consistency across all formats and platforms.
  • Define clear success metrics for video performance and use insights to continuously optimise content effectiveness.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, production techniques, and creative innovations — ensuring we evolve and adapt with our audience.

Who you are:

  • You bring proven experience in video production, content strategy, and creative leadership, ideally within a fast-paced, international environment.
  • You have experience building or scaling a video function from the ground up — hiring, mentoring, and designing scalable ways of working.
  • You’re a confident creative leader with a strong point of view, known for producing high-quality, brand-aligned video content that makes an impact.
  • You have a strong track record of delivering standout creative work across formats — from emotive storytelling to short-form social content.
  • You’re comfortable directing shoots, managing post-production workflows, and working hands-on with editing tools when needed.
  • You’re highly collaborative and experienced in managing relationships with a range of senior stakeholders, including executive spokespeople.
  • You combine creative ambition with operational focus — balancing vision with timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver efficiently and at scale.
  • You have a deep understanding of content performance and audience behaviour, and use data to inform creative decisions.
  • You stay close to evolving trends in video, social, and digital storytelling, and are excited by innovation and continuous improvement.

What's in it for you:

  • A range of flexible working options to dedicate time to what matters to you
  • Competitive compensation package + bonus
  • 25 days holiday per year, increasing to 28 days after 2 years of employment
  • Two (paid) volunteering days a year to spend your time giving back to the causes that matter to you and your community
  • Rich learning and development opportunities are supported through the Trustpilot Academy and Blinkist
  • Pension and life insurance
  • Health cash plan, online GP, 24/7, Employee Assistance Plan
  • Full access to Headspace, a popular mindfulness app to promote positive mental health
  • Paid parental leave
  • Season ticket loan and a cycle-to-work scheme
  • Central office location complete with table tennis, a gaming corner, coffee bars and all the snacks and refreshments you can ask for
  • Regular opportunities to connect and get to know your fellow Trusties, including company-wide celebrations and events, ERG activities, and team socials.
  • Access to over 4,000 deals and discounts on things like travel, electronics, fashion, fitness, cinema discounts, and more.
  • Independent financial advice and free standard professional mortgage broker advice
  • Talent acceleration programs: Fast-track your career with our tailored development programs designed to support growth at whatever stage of your career

Still not sure?

We want to be a part of creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive world of work for all. We’re excited to hear about your experiences as well as how you will contribute to our working culture. So, even if you don’t feel you don't meet all the requirements, we'd still really like to hear from you!
