At Tekion, we empower our product teams to solve meaningful customer and business problems in ways our users love. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and evolve Tekion’s reporting and dashboarding strategy for our dealer-facing products.
This role is perfect for someone who has walked in a dealer's shoes or closely partnered with them — someone who knows what metrics matter most. You thrive at the intersection of product strategy, business intelligence, and AI-powered insights, and you can anticipate the next question before it’s even asked.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Analytics Product Lifecycle: Drive the end-to-end strategy, design, and execution of dealer-facing reports and dashboards—from ideation to launch and continuous optimization.
- Champion Data-Driven Decision Making: Partner with engineering to fulfill data needs and build high-impact analytics products using BI platforms like ThoughtSpot, Looker, or Tableau.
- Craft Actionable Insights: Translate dealership personas and workflows into intuitive, action-driven visualizations that drive operational efficiency, growth, and smarter decisions.
- Ensure Data Governance and Consistency: Define and uphold standards for metric definitions, alignment with business objectives, and clean, governable data structures.
- Drive Feedback and Validation Loops: Work directly with OEMs and dealers to gather feedback, prioritize needs, and validate the success of analytics initiatives.
- Leverage AI for Advanced Insights: Use emerging AI capabilities to create personalized, predictive, or conversational insights that go beyond static reporting.
- Be the Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the go-to expert for dealership decision-making workflows and analytics-driven product innovation.
- Evangelize Analytics: Promote the value of insights across internal product teams and customer stakeholders to drive adoption and data fluency.
Skills and Experience

- Hands-on experience with BI tools (ThoughtSpot preferred, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Strong technical intuition — comfortable partnering with data engineering, warehouse (DWH), and AI/ML teams
- Proven ability to launch and scale analytics products within a B2B SaaS environment
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills — you can turn complex data into compelling narratives
- Passion for solving customer problems through intuitive product design and insightful visualizations
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AI/ML in BI contexts (e.g., NLP, predictive modeling, embedded analytics)
- Familiarity with data modeling and ETL pipeline concepts
- Previous experience in multi-tenant SaaS platforms
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, agile, startup-like environment
Perks and Benefits
- Competitive compensation and generous stock options
- 100% employer-paid top-of-the-line medical, dental and vision coverage
- Great benefits including unlimited PTO, parental leave and free snacks and beverages
- The opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds from Silicon Valley’s most dominant and successful companies
- Be part of an early stage, hyper-growth start-up with the opportunity to grow and prosper
- Work on the latest and coolest technologies – everything is home-grown and built ground-up
