We are looking for a DevOps Engineer.

What Will You Be Doing?

As our DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing releases between sandboxes and production for our client projects. You will also oversee the creation and management of repositories in GitHub.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of a project before deployment, ensuring teams properly use repositories and document manual steps.
  • Validate releases against the target environment to confirm readiness.
  • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Schedule releases with project managers, ensuring no calendar conflicts.
  • Understand the deployment process for both metadata and data (using SFDMU).
  • Communicate progress and completion with internal and external teams.
  • Update JIRA statuses and assign tasks based on project requirements.
  • Ensure the team follows best practices and provide necessary documentation.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of audiences.
  • Work independently, establish priorities, and pursue objectives without supervision.
  • Collaborate with Development, DevOps, PMO, and other teams to improve release tools.
  • Follow all best practices and procedures established by Forefront.

What You Need for This Position:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Knowledge of Salesforce metadata structure.
• Experience with SFDX and SF CLI.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, VS Code, IntelliJ, Bamboo, Docker, etc.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting.
• Experience with JavaScript (preferably Node.js).
• Command line tools expertise (Linux experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of Git and version control systems.
• Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to assist others.
• Effective collaboration across all segments of an organization.
• Up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with modern backup platforms (OwnBackup).
