About the role

The Traded Risk (TR) Transformation Team oversees end-to-end projects across market and counterparty credit risk, ensuring high data quality and integrity for risk management and regulatory compliance. This includes both strategic application development and BAU project activities.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in managing and executing analysis within the Integrity of Regulatory Reporting (IRR-PRA) for Traded Risk, specifically within the Stress Testing Data Framework (STDF).

You will:

• Lead initial scoping efforts, working closely with finance teams (STDF group and regional teams) to define Traded Risk scope.
• Manage data to ensure compliance with STDF requirements for Traded Risk.
• Oversee traceability, process mapping, and controls to align with Traded Risk STDF requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory & Transformation Initiatives

• Support PRA/ECB regulatory commitments across London, Paris, Germany, MENA, and other locations.
• Enhance efficiency by improving fragmented and manual systems.
• Drive global consistency and strengthen the control framework.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external deadlines.
• Improve process efficiency and internal control systems.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Deliver key transformation projects.
• Work with global and regional Business Analysts and project managers to leverage best practices and ensure successful implementation.
• Collaborate effectively across teams and regions, fostering strong internal and external partnerships.
• Engage with key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects.

• Regulatory & Risk Analytics (GRA)

Operational Effectiveness & Control

• Strengthen the control environment by prioritizing process improvements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with PRA, SOx, KPMG, and other governing bodies.

Required Experience & Skills

Essential Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of Traded Risk (Market or Counterparty Risk) concepts, including exposure calculation approaches, internal controls framework, and Basel II & III.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies, Business Analysis & Design, Managing Change, Process Re-engineering, and Critical Thinking.
• Proven experience in delivering change in complex banking environments.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing large, remote teams.
• Ability to work effectively across global and regional teams.
• Proven track record of working with senior stakeholders and sponsors.
• Confirmed commercial experience (min. 4 years)
• Right to work in Poland.
