Amazon seeks a talented and highly motivated Financial Analyst to join the Ads Finance Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. In this role, you will learn the Amazon tools and processes to conduct deep data analysis, build financial/business insights, and partner with the broader finance team to deliver results. More importantly, you have the opportunity to innovate by participating in various process improvement and automation projects that gain efficiency and enable the team to move faster.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word. This role will require a can-do attitude and strong communication skills, as the candidate will need to work closely with the leadership team. Candidates should have strong independent initiative and the ability to deliver high-quality work without a lot of oversight. This role provides a great opportunity to demonstrate capabilities to dive deep, deliver results, invent and simplify, and earn trust.
Key job responsibilities
• Assisting in managing central processes such as Month-End Close, Monthly Financial Reporting, Planning and Goal Setting, and Review, etc.
• Performing ad-hoc deep dives and analyses.
• Building financial models and reports in Excel and streamline requests
• Partnering with Business Intelligence Engineers in driving automation projects.
About the team
Ads Finance FP&A is the finance team that serves as the central connection point between the various Advertising Product Finance teams, and between Amazon Advertising and other Amazon businesses.- 1+ years of finance experience
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $51,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $109,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
