Role Overview

As a Strategic Finance Associate, you will be a key contributor to our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. This role will require a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to provide executive leadership with actionable financial insights that drive business growth. You will work closely with senior leadership, including the C-Suite, to optimize resource allocation and support high-impact corporate decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Insights: Work closely with senior leadership and the C-Suite to provide financial insights that shape the company’s long-term growth strategy.
• Executive & Board-Level Reporting: Develop and present high-quality financial reports, presentations, and strategic analyses for executives and the Board.
• Investment & Business Evaluation: Financially assess new business opportunities and capital investments by building robust financial models and providing data-driven recommendations.
• Corporate Decision Support: Perform complex financial analysis and modeling using both internal data and external market research to guide key corporate decisions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Business Finance, Corporate Development, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure financial insights drive strategic alignment and operational efficiency.
• Advanced Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex financial models, including company operating models, forecast models, investment returns models, and pricing models.
• Data-Driven Analysis: Ingest large datasets, reconcile imperfect data, and derive key insights to inform financial planning and decision-making.
• Ad-Hoc Strategic Projects: Support leadership with various strategic initiatives, special projects, and deep-dive analyses as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

• 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, or FP&A.
• Strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis.

Competencies:

• Deep experience with financial modeling and valuation, including M&A analysis, capital investments, and strategic financial planning.
• Ability to navigate imperfect data, perform reconciliation, and drive meaningful financial insights.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable strategies.
• Highly proficient in Excel and financial modeling tools, with experience in SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools as a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior executives and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive high-impact financial initiatives.
