Job Description


We are seeking a passionate and motivated UX Researcher to join our team on a maternity cover contract from April 2025 to January 2026. Reporting to the Product Research Director, you will work within a close-knit team of two researchers and an operations manager. In this role, you will champion the voice of the user across multiple product teams within the Growth line and help ensure alignment between business goals and user needs.
The researcher will be responsible for leading strategic research end-to-end, across different teams that focus on the user experience early in the funnel, as well as enable and support those running tactical research within those teams.

You will: 
- Design and execute discovery research projects using both quantitative and qualitative practices, and convert the findings into actionable insights that make our product experiences measurably better.
- Partner with marketing, analytics, and sales teams to make sure you tell holistic customer stories that help us make the best decisions.
- Collaborate with product, design and engineering directors to identify and ensure strategic priorities are well-defined, as well as set up to achieve a high impact.
- Support and enable your product teams to perform research of quality as well as secondary research.
- Work on research deliverables that can be shared across the organization (e.g. journey mapping, Jobs to be Done, user personas, etc.), allowing our team to build a product strategy that is aligned with user needs. 
- Communicate results and illustrate recommendations in compelling and creative ways to a broad and diverse audience including executive stakeholders, and across organizational boundaries.

Position Requirements 
- Experience working on growth-related topics or at the top of the funnel. PLG motions and B2B SaaS experience is a bonus.
- Proven experience with quantitative research methods, a good understanding of statistical tests to analyse results is a bonus.
- Experience conducting qualitative research in a corporate environment, including concept and usability testing, moderated interviews, and surveys.
- Ability to pull in industry trends, market research and benchmarking to surface actionable insights.
- Familiarity with experiments and macro- and micro-optimizations for conversions of different types.
- Experience partnering with product analytics and cross-functional collaboration across teams, including marketing and sales. 
- Proven experience designing and executing research projects that informed strategic decisions and impacted business metrics.
- Ability to autonomously coordinate and execute research projects including working with recruitment vendors where necessary.
- Experience in educating product teams (designers and PMs) in research, enabling and supporting them when performing tactical research.
- Demonstrated ability to promote insights across teams and orgs.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check confidentially processed by our third-party. 
- Comfortable using behavioral and/or product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Hotjar, Looker, Heap or Contentsquare.
