Amazon is looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to be part of the team Onboarding and Developing Strategic Selling Partners in Amazon Seller Services business in Australia. The Business Development Manager is responsible for initiating and developing strong relationships with Strategic Selling Partners (SPs). They balance their time between onboarding new SPs and driving growth through strategically managing the existing SPs.
The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for driving projects and setting processes within their team. They'll work with various stakeholders and teams across the Amazon organization both locally and internationally.
Operating in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment the successful candidate will be required to work autonomously, taking responsibility for achieving business objectives. This role provides a real opportunity to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever changing business climate.
Key job responsibilities
- Design the lead generation strategy for launching new SPs
- Drive launch negotiations with SPs and hand manage them through the launch
- Jointly develop a business plan for Strategic SPs growth on Amazon and execute it
- Relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams including Product Management, Technical and Category Management teams.
- Drive customer satisfaction
- Work closely with marketing, merchandising, customer service and other key internal Amazon stakeholders to drive SP success while improving customer experience
- Analyze industry and Amazon internal data to understand competitive landscape across multiple categories and identify customer trends
- Identify unique selection or seller opportunities that drive growth
A day in the life
You'll balance your time between cultivating new partnerships and supporting existing sellers' growth. Your day might include strategizing with partners, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating with various Amazon teams to implement solutions that benefit both sellers and customers.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience within e-commerce or Retail fields- Experience with pipeline management skills to include utilization of Salesforce or other CRM tools
- Experience and track record of exceeding sales goals
