Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in sales or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in technology sales or working with customers in a sales role.
  • Experience working both individually and collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the security industry.
  • Experience with outbound prospecting tools (i.e., Salesloft, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo).
  • Experience generating new business opportunities.
  • Experience in CRM software (i.e., Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of Google Security products and services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, prospecting, and relationship building skills.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will help drive new business for Google Security products. You will be responsible for prospecting new customers, building relationships, and qualifying leads. You will also work with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$154,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Collaborate with account teams, channel partners, marketing and others to create business opportunities for Google Cloud Security.
  • Operationalize data-driven management of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Optimize the team’s ability to create new opportunities from our MQL pipeline to review, qualify, and distribute leads to the BDR team. Implement data-driven strategies to analyze MQL trends, identify key insights, and surface buying signals.
  • Plan and execute Google Cloud Security's BDR participation in industry events and conferences. Manage all logistical aspects of event participation, including booth setup, staffing schedules, materials, and lead capture mechanisms.
  • Oversee the intake and appropriate follow-up for various inbound lead sources beyond standard MQLs.
  • Develop and deliver pre-event training to BDRs on event messaging, product focus, and lead qualification strategies.
