Product Manager, Google Cloud Security

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
• Experience developing or launching products or technologies within security, privacy, or a related area

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience managing day-to-day tactical decision, technical and design direction.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product Engineering, UX/UI, Program management, etc.).
• Experience working with identity, access management, security or privacy.
• Experience with enterprise products, infrastructure, or systems.
• Knowledge of the cloud ecosystem, markets, and competition.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a Product Manager at Google, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. The end goal will be to match you with the team that best aligns with your interests, experience, and where you will have the most impact.

• Set short and long-term strategies for the product team.
• Test cloud products to understand and arrive at opportunity areas.
• Generate high level insights from formative research, market gaps or technical insights to arrive at product requirements.
• Understand technologies and customer use cases to arrive at insights for driving customer experience with Google cloud products, and understand needs and pain points in the hybrid cloud space to influence technical priorities and business strategy.
• Engage with the Engineering team to help determine the technology solution and implementation schedule, and develop innovative solutions by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions.
