Principal Technical Product Manager for Cloud Network & Edge

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Manager to join our Cloud Native Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in AWS infrastructure, Software-Defined Networking (SDN), and advanced security solutions, and has experience building out infrastructure and platforms in multiple cloud regions. In this role, you will help Toast build and maintain a scalable and secure network foundation.

This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence two days per week in our Dublin city center location.

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with technology trends and customer feedback from internal and external customers.
• Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a product roadmap that delivers customer and business value in the network foundations domain
• Product Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers and external partners
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with security and compliance teams and our R&D teams to ensure the success of the platform. Work closely with acquisition companies to ensure successful integration to the Toast platform.

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

Technical Expertise:

• Proven experience with AWS infrastructure
• Deep understanding of software defined networks, cloud landing zones, VPC buildouts, cloud security, application and network firewalls, as well as ingress and egress control.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Security best practices and technologies.
• Experience building out foundational infrastructure in a SaaS environment
• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level DNS and IPAM solutions, with a focus on automation and security.
• Experience with container orchestration services like ECS and Kubernetes.

Product Management Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in technical product management, preferably in a SaaS company,  plus 5+ years of experience in a technical role
• Demonstrated track record of successfully launching and managing products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• AWS certifications are a plus.
