Software Engineering Manager II- Embedded Finance

Toast builds restaurant management solutions that help restaurants thrive and succeed. Our platform provides a suite of tools that enable restaurants to take control of their business, from taking orders online and at tables to managing employee schedules and supplier purchases.

The Embedded Finance team is seeking a motivated Engineering Manager (M2) to build a product line that integrates with and serves our customer’s financial needs. This is a full stack ownership role with responsibility for both customer facing experiences and platform development. The Engineering Manager will ensure that we have a high performing team, scalable solutions and happy customers, to help us become an integral part of our customer’s financial lives.

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

• Collaborate with PM and UX to prioritize and maintain a backlog of actionable work items
• Oversee all stages of software delivery to ensure high-quality results, including monitoring and production issue resolution
• Recruit and develop new team members while providing professional and technical coaching to existing team members
• Manage project planning, scheduling, and execution to achieve business goals
• Spearhead cross-team and cross-organization initiatives to drive collaboration and deliver results
