Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within one or more of the following: Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools, or supply chain networks.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with hybrid/distributed cloud environments.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of products or solutions.
  • Understanding of sales strategies, channel partnerships, ISV ecosystems, and marketing best practices.
  • Understanding of core cloud technologies (Compute, Networking, Storage, AI/ML, Data Analytics), and the ability to translate customer application and solution requirements into technical specifications.
  • Ability to analyze market dynamics, assess competitive landscapes, and formulate product strategies that align with broader business objectives.
  • Ability to drive business growth through portfolio-level thinking.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The Outbound Product Management team for Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) fuels product adoption and market leadership. We achieve this by scaling GDC's business through strategic sales programs and lighthouse customer engagements, while simultaneously converting the product's value to customers, partners, and industry influencers.

We're scaling GDC to a large, global sales team, and you'll be a leader in that journey, navigating ambiguity and always doing what's right for our customers. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Develop and execute sales acceleration programs to drive GDC adoption and business growth. Identify, cultivate, and sponsor lighthouse and strategic customer opportunities.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, partners, and industry analysts, communicating the value proposition of GDC.
  • Represent GDC at industry events, conferences, and other relevant forums. Partner with sales and marketing to ensure cohesive go-to-market strategies and product launches.
  • Gather market feedback and customer requirements, and collaborate with the inbound product management team to prioritize these inputs for the product roadmap.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform product strategy and positioning. Contribute to the development of product messaging, collateral, differentiation, and sales enablement materials.
