Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sr. Director of FP&A to lead the financial planning and analysis function. This executive role will be instrumental in shaping the company’s financial strategy, driving operational efficiencies, and delivering high-impact financial insights to senior leadership. The Sr. Director of FP&A will play a key role in financial forecasting and long-term strategic planning, ensuring the company’s financial health and growth trajectory remain strong. The ideal candidate will possess deep financial expertise, leadership acumen, and the ability to influence key business decisions at the highest levels.
Essential Functions
Financial Modeling: Develop, enhance, and maintain complex financial models, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis. KPI Development & Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with organizational goals, providing actionable insights to senior leadership. Reporting & Analysis: Create and present detailed financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to senior management, ensuring alignment with business strategy. Strategic Planning: Assist in long-term strategic planning through in-depth analysis and the development of business cases to support key corporate initiatives. Business Partnering: Collaborate with department heads to drive financial discipline and influence decision-making, offering insights into cost drivers, profitability, and cash flow. Excel Expertise: Build sophisticated Excel models, utilizing advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, data validation, macros, and other advanced formulas. PowerPoint Presentations: Prepare clear, concise, and impactful PowerPoint presentations for executive and board meetings. Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other functions (Accounting, Operations, Marketing, etc.) to ensure financial alignment and support data-driven decision-making.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.10+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong track record in strategic business support and decision-making. Proven experience leading FP&A teams and influencing senior leadership in a high-growth environment. Strong expertise in financial modeling, business intelligence, and financial systems. Business Intelligence (BI) tool experience creating and analyzing reports from common BI software including Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Domo, Sisense, Datapine, etc. Deep understanding of financial reporting, corporate finance principles, and strategic planning. Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate financial insights effectively to executives. Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.

Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive financial performance through strategic initiatives. Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, financial analytics platforms, and business intelligence tools. Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead through change while driving long-term business success. Salary: $175k + a 10 to 15% bonus target.
