We ( platform software team) mainly works on platform software part (e.g., BSP, native service) for Amazon OS, the mission is to build a high quality operating system and devices to customers. The role of this job mainly response for platform software design and implementation, working with stakeholders to drive the delivery of complex features from a technical perspective.
1. Participate in building platform software for Amazon OS based products.
2. Independently design and delivery software features, including native software, HAL and drivers on various operation systems.
Key job responsibilities
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Rich experience on linux driver development, understand linux kernel driver model and is able to write new drivers from scratch.
Rich experience with codec integration, optimization, and performance tuning for embedded systems.
Rich experience on Android or gstreamer based video software development.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex technical concepts effectively.- 6+ years of building production software experience- 6+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
