Your Impact: 

Supervise the activities of the Quality Control (QC) department and personnel, to ensure incoming raw materials, In process WIP and finished good, meet their approved specifications or other regulatory requirements. Establish daily priorities based on the needs of the production lines. 

What You’ll Do

Location: Scottsdale - Pinnacle Site
Reports to: Manager, Quality Engineering
Direct Reports: 8-10 Quality Inspectors

  • Ensures that QC Inspectors conduct inspections according to approved procedures/specifications, inspection plans
  • Audit inspection documentation for compliance and makes the final disposition for the materials
  • Schedules and supervises QC Inspectors activities
  • Directs and provide training for QC Inspectors
  • Collaboration on in process and outgoing quality Inspection Plans
  • Manages inventory within our quality control areas, 
  • Ensures computer databases/worksheets are updated and communicated to the appropriate team members, and departments of inspection status
  • Establish and achieve weekly/monthly goals 
  • Results oriented with the drive necessary to continuously look for ways to improve the effectiveness of operations, processes, procedures or services
  • Willing to take the initiative needed and go beyond individual roles and functions to get things done
  • Possesses the people skills necessary to connect and communicate with people at all levels within the organization
  • Team Player with the flexibility and dependability needed to see projects and tasks through to completion\

What You Bring

  • 3-5 years hands on experience as an inspection supervisor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Associates Degree or higher in a Engineering Discipline or equivalent experience 
  • 3-5+ years Dimensional Metrology equipment experience 
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift and/or move 10 - 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
    • Ability to use optical magnification equipment
      • Ability to stand for long lengths of time with or without accommodation required
      • Use of hands to finger, handle, and feel with or without accommodation required
  • High degree of knowledge of drawings, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), complex inspection methods, CMM, metrology equipment
  • Quality experience in the electronics, plastics, metals, and QMS; ISO, IATF, AS…
  • Six Sigma Green Belt 
  • CMM programing
  • ESD 20.20
  • Quality Engineering
  • 6S Techniques
  • IPC 610 certified
