We’re looking for an experienced Manager, Global Facilities to lead office operations for our North American and APAC regions, ensuring our workplaces—both physical and virtual—enhance employee experience, foster a culture of belonging, and bring people together. In this hybrid role, you will lead the North American-based Facilities team, work collaboratively with your EMEA counterpart to address ongoing issues with processes, systems, or vendors, and oversee Hootsuite’s operations, ensuring offices are engaging and effective spaces, projects are executed flawlessly, and your team is providing a best-in-class employee experience.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead and manae a team of coordinators, including hiring selection, mentoring, performance management, and all other people-management practices, including DEI.
  • Partner with stakeholders, landlords, and vendors to implement policies and guidelines that impact day-to-day office operations and local teams, ensuring they align with hybrid work strategies and support employee connection and engagement.
  • Manage the team’s procurement process by working closely with the internal Procurement and Finance departments, leading the RFP process, and managing vendor, supplier, and contractor relationships.
  • Proactively manage and resolve any facilities-related issues, ensuring our offices are designed to foster collaboration, belonging, and inclusivity while adhering to Corporate Security and Privacy requirements and local building codes.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, communication plans, and senior stakeholder reporting for capital and operational projects.
  • Ensure all offices within your regional portfolio are running smoothly, employee requests are addressed, and that all offices are compliant with local health and safety requirements.
  • Oversee the execution of Perch Days (in-office days), ensuring they are engaging moments where employees can connect, collaborate, and feel a sense of belonging in the workplace.
  • Work closely with Comms/Events to execute social engagement events, activations, and workplace experience initiatives that enhance the employee experience both in-person and virtually.
  • Responsible for oversight of the Zendesk ticketing system, ensuring open tickets are appropriately allocated, escalated when required, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Manage office leases, supplies, and other administrative initiatives, ensuring the workplace supports a seamless and enriching employee experience.
  • Act as a health and safety champion by reviewing and updating health and safety policies, working with consultants to address issues, and ensuring any concerns are addressed promptly.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Proven working experience as a leader, ideally 8+ years of portfolio management and people management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management courses or equivalent preferred
  • Well rounded knowledge and experience in people leadership, corporate travel and project management as well as budgeting and forecasting
