The role:
The Capital Markets Reporting Analyst will be a key member of SoFi’s fast-growing Capital Markets team and will support the preparation and analysis of reports related to Home Lending activities.
What you’ll do:
- Be responsible for preparation and timely delivery of reports including but not limited to lock activity, market exposure, and margin performance to financial and home lending leadership
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of loan metrics including held for sale balances, pricing deviations, and funding data
- Contribute to overall home lending business strategy and financial forecasting
- Support the quarterly and annual financial reporting cycles ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with other departments to gather data and resolve discrepancies
- Support day-to-day operations including daily rate sheets, lock, extension and exception processing
- Coordinate with Capital Markets to ensure best execution and enhance secondary market capabilities
- Help streamline and improve reporting processes, leveraging automation and other tools as appropriate
What you’ll need:
- Financial reporting, capital markets, or mortgage pricing experience.
- Familiarity with marketplace trading platforms such as MCT
- Proficiency in financial reporting software and tools such as Excel, Tableau, and SnowFlake
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent efforts in various capacities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Nice to have:
- Experience with secondary/ trading at a National Mortgage Company or Federally Chartered Bank
- Coding knowledge like SQL, VBA/Macro
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Math, or other quantitative discipline
