The Community You Will Join: 

The Growth Marketing team at Airbnb is at the intersection of marketing, engineering and data science. Our work is imperative to driving the top line of the entire company. Partnering closely with the Business and Marketing teams, the Growth Marketing Lead will deliver marketing initiatives across all growth channels, leading with a mindset of continuous testing and data driven decision making.

The Difference You Will Make: 

The Growth Marketing Lead will lead all Growth Marketing activations in LATAM with a focus on Brazil and Mexico. You will be able to represent Growth Marketing channels amongst regional leadership, while being an extension of the global  teams in HQ. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams such as Brand Marketing, FP&A, Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Design. This role utilizes a strong analytical background with a passion for executing scalable Growth Marketing strategies. Success in this role means understanding the value of Growth Marketing levers and representing those insights in regional leadership conversations. 

Your Typical Day:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive growth marketing strategies to drive Airbnb user acquisition, retention, and engagement in LATAM.
  • Partner with growth functions (SEO, SEM, Display,  Affiliates, Partnerships, Merchandising and Email & Push) to deliver effective campaigns in those markets.
  • Collaborate closely with the content, design, and creative teams to produce compelling marketing narratives and campaigns.
  • Represent strategic growth initiatives in regional leadership business reviews; providing insights into channel trends and performance, impact of key initiatives, and cascade insights to team. 
  • Use general knowledge of campaign optimization strategies to drive efficiency (Paid Channels), acquisition and retention tactics (Engagement).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional (remote) teams including brand marketing, creative, engineering and analytics to inform growth marketing strategies in LATAM. This includes identifying key growth opportunities through both quantitative and qualitative analysis, and evangelizing these opportunities to cross-functional teams. 

Your Expertise:   

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in Growth Marketing channels (SEO, SEM, Display,  Email and Push) 
  • Expertise in acquisition via social channels
  • Familiarity with merchandising, partnerships, affiliate channels and other local growth marketing levers a plus
  • Strong understanding of Brazilian and Mexican markets and consumer behavior
  • General knowledge of organic levers, campaign optimization strategies and marketing automation tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic environments, manage projects independently, maintain exceptional organization, and deliver precise results with strong technical skills, consistently achieving high-quality outcomes.

Your Location:

Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant will need to be based in Mexico City, Mexico to be able to conduct their work.
