Amazon Marketplace Fashion is looking for a Head of Product Management who can improve the lives of Buyers and Sellers in the platform and accelerate the performance of the Fashion business.
In this role, you will lead a team in charge of increasing the breadth of products available in the site, launching new features and programs to improve the experience of Buyers and Sellers, and deriving business insights to unlock growth opportunities.
You will be part of the Fashion Leadership Team and work closely with account management, product management, and marketing teams in JP and other geographies to influence roadmaps and drive strategic initiatives that can grow the JP Fashion business.
The ideal candidate will be able to lead and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers, have a highly strategic mindset, and excellent business judgment. This role requires superior communication skills to effectively work and influence key stakeholders in JP and WW.
Key job responsibilities
- Define vision and strategy across key pillars of the Amazon flywheel for the Fashion category: Selection, Customer Experience, and Seller Experience.
- Lead the design and implementation of cross-functional opportunities in ambiguous areas, understanding the top pain points for Fashion Buyers and Sellers, and designing scalable solutions to address them.
- Lead business planning and performance management, understanding drivers of growth or gaps vs previous years or goals, and proposing initiatives to double down on the most successful areas or course-correct where appropriate.
- Work across different organizations, aligning teams who may have conflicting priorities to pursue the right goals and deliver against stretching targets.
- Manage a team of Product Managers, guiding them to achieve team goals demonstrating Amazonβs leadership principles and scaling learnings across other teams.
- 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- 5+ years of team management experience
- Experience engaging and influencing senior executives
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience assessing trade-offs and prioritizing initiatives
- Fluent in English- Fluent in Japanese
