Position Summary:The purpose of this role is to plan, design and optimize PointClickCare's workspace environments. This role involves coordinating with the Workplace Experience Senior Director and Project Design Manager to ensure that office layouts and projects meet the needs of the employees and align PointClickCare operational and organizational goals.
The WE Engineer is responsible for managing PCC's portfolio of properties day-to-day operations and building and associated programs. This position is highly customer oriented & focused, experienced in building systems and in negotiating, tracking, and implementing maintenance contracts, schedules. Is intimately knowledgeable with all building, fire and safety codes etc. and is the first line of response for any and all building related emergencies such as floods, power outages, etc. Designs office reconfigurations on AutoCAD and works with external vendors to execute small projects and repairs. Has a keen knowledge of vendor management, compliance and is an advocate of health and safety. This position requires to be on call 24/7 for building-related emergencies.
