Technical Business Development Representative
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Outreach:
Proactively identify, research, and connect with potential customers to generate interest in our public cloud services.
Utilize various tools and platforms to conduct cold outreach via email, phone, and social channels.
Tailor outreach messaging to address specific technical pain points of targeted accounts.
Work Closely with the Marketing, Alliance and Sales Leads and accounts.
Qualify Opportunities:
Engage prospects to understand their business challenges and technical needs related to public cloud solutions.
Qualify leads by assessing technical requirements, budget, and decision-making processes.
Collaborate with Sales & Technical Teams:
Partner with account executives, solutions architects, and technical experts to develop tailored proposals and demonstrations.
Provide input on solution design based on an understanding of the customer’s technical and business requirements.
Stay Informed:
Maintain a strong understanding of AWS, Azure, and GCP capabilities, trends, and competitive offerings.
Attend training sessions, webinars, and industry events to stay updated on advancements in public cloud technologies.
Pipeline Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, activities, and progress in the CRM system.
Provide regular reports on lead generation performance and pipeline status.
Qualifications & Experience
Required Skills:
Basic understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their core services.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
Proven ability to build relationships and engage with customers in a technical sales environment.
Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn.
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in sales, business development, or technical roles related to cloud computing.
Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce,HubSpot, Lusha, ZoomInfo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator for lead generation.
Certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
