Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This position involves overseeing accounting processes for multiple entities across the APAC region and ensuring compliance with financial standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing accounting operations, a keen eye for process improvements, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Oversight

• Manage and oversee accounting activities for entities across the APAC region.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting and compliance with local and international standards.

Period-End Closings

• Supervise and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes across all entities.

Accounting Queries

• Act as the primary point of contact for local accountants to address accounting queries and provide guidance on complex issues.

Annual Audits

• Assist in preparing for and managing the annual audit process, ensuring timely and accurate responses to auditors.

Statutory Compliance

• Support compliance with local statutory requirements, including tax filings, financial reporting, and other regulatory obligations.

Process Improvement

• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Ad Hoc Tasks

• Undertake additional tasks and projects assigned by the Regional Finance Director or corporate team as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in handling accounting and book-closing processes for multiple entities.
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive under pressure.
• Familiarity with NetSuite ERP is highly desirable.
• Excellent English communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate across various teams and regions.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment.
