Why you’ll love this role:

We are looking for an ambitious, passionate and results-oriented Sales Professional to join our Aerospace and Defense Team. We seek candidates with experience selling large-scale enterprise IT/Cybersecurity solutions to leading Federal Systems Integrator accounts. A successful Sales Professional at Cribl has a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about customer challenges/requirements, who can clearly articulate a compelling value proposition in support of mission objectives, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus.

Please note, this is a remote position based out of the Washington, D.C. area. 

As an active member of our team, you will:

  • Develop a business plan for new and existing FSI accounts across an assigned territory, meeting or exceeding quarterly and yearly revenue targets
  • Continually build and grow a robust sales pipeline via outbound account visits and proactive interactions to obtain new business
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts, actively identifying opportunities for customer development and revenue growth
  • Work closely with internal and external partners to extend reach and drive adoption
  • Successfully lead complex contract negotiations
  • Moderate travel as needed
  • Forecast revenue predictably

If you’ve got it - we want it:

  • 7-10+ years experience selling into FSI accounts calling on Security & IT stakeholders
  • Proven track record selling large-scale enterprise IT/Cybersecurity solutions in a competitive environment 
  • Highly effective territory/account development strategy
  • Highly effective at generating and maintaining a consistent revenue pipeline
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to demonstrate a connection to Cribl’s vision and core values
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles
  • A successful track record of overachievement annually
  • Ability to run quickly and adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • A high degree of honesty, integrity and sound judgment
  • BA/BS degree, MBA or Masters degree from a top university a plus

 

The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salary offered within the range described will be based on the individual candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  In addition to a competitive salary, Cribl also offers a generous benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, paid holidays and paid time off, a fertility treatment benefit, 401(k), and equity. The total compensation offered for this position will include a commission/incentive plan.
