The role:

The Business Operations drives strategy and planning, business-critical insights, and cross-functional execution. We’re seeking a Senior Lead Strategic Engagement team member to support SoFi’s Borrow team and executive. 

You will be a trusted partner for the leadership team, focusing on bringing continuity and consistency across team presentations, communications, high-impact strategic projects and change management. This role will craft team strategy, messaging, and experiences, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and purpose. From leading high-profile employee engagement efforts to developing communications plans that amplify SoFi’s mission, your work will be pivotal in driving clarity and alignment at every level of the Borrow organization.

This individual works across numerous functional teams within SoFi. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic thinker who can work cross-functionally to solve complex challenges with uncertain inputs and outputs.  

What you’ll do:

  • Develop materials including talking points, presentations, and Borrow executive communications that align with their vision and SoFi’s values - while creating consistency across each Borrow Business Unit.
  • Lead the creation, iteration, and ongoing optimization of recurring weekly/monthly/quarterly routines and communications for the Borrow businesses and functional teams
  • Oversee planning and execution of key Borrow events, including team site visits, Borrow-wide all hands meetings, quarterly town halls, leadership forums, and other high-impact gatherings.
  • Create and execute a content strategy that amplifies team achievements, organizational milestones, and SoFi’s culture.
  • Draft and edit compelling Borrow communications, including intranet articles, newsletters, and Slack updates, that resonate across all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate across various teams to ensure cohesive and aligned goals and messaging for effective change management efforts, announcements, and culture.
  • Assist with answering and streamlining written communications and streamline process 
  • Support administrative tasks as needed 

What you’ll need:

  • 6+ years of experience in business operations, communications  and relevant work 
  • Bachelor's degree with a major in finance, business and/or communications  
  • Experience with financial services or consumer technology companies in the private or public sector
  • Hands-on operational capabilities with advanced proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office apps, etc.
  • A clear communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Inquisitive nature, attention to detail, diligence, and a good attitude
  • Excellent time and project management skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively
  • Comfort working in a high-growth, constantly changing environment
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
