ABOUT THE ROLE

As Trainer and Training Coordinator you will take part in:

Training Coordination:

  • Assist in scheduling and organizing training sessions.
  • Coordinate logistics, including room setup, equipment, and materials.
  • Maintain and update training calendars and notify participants of upcoming sessions.

Materials Management:

  • Support the creation and organization of training materials, such as handouts, presentations, interactive training materials via our LMS platform and guides, making them as interactive as possible. 
  • Ensure that all training resources are up-to-date and accessible to trainers and participants.
  • Assist in managing digital content and learning management systems (LMS).

Training Delivery:

  • Conduct workshops, individual and group training sessions both virtually and face to face - focusing on keeping these as engaging as possible

Participant Support:

  • Act as the point of contact for training participants, addressing questions or concerns before, during, and after training.
  • Track attendance, collect feedback, and assist with training evaluations.
  • Ensure participants receive all necessary documentation and certifications related to their training.

Administrative Support:

  • Assist in compiling training reports and tracking training progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of training materials, attendance, and certification statuses.
  • Provide general administrative support to the training team, including filing, correspondence, and other tasks as needed.

Logistical Support:

  • Organize and manage resources for training events, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Set up and manage virtual training platforms and ensure a seamless experience for both trainers and participants.
  • Handle the procurement of any materials or supplies necessary for training events.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Gather feedback from trainers and participants to suggest improvements in training processes and materials.
  • Help identify opportunities for process optimization and support the development of more efficient training practices.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Training Coordinator and trainer plays a crucial role in supporting the planning, coordination, and logistics of training programs, as well as the delivery. This role ensures that all training initiatives run smoothly, effectively, and efficiently. The Training Coordinator will assist with the preparation of training materials, manage schedules, provide administrative support, and ensure that trainers have the resources needed to facilitate sessions.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-service oriented with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
  • Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to anticipate and address potential challenges.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
  • Previous experience in training coordination, administration, or support roles is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail.
