Are you interested in working with top Video Games vendors to improve supply chain efficiency, deliver exciting new launches, and ensure we are instock for customers? The US Retail Video Games Supply Chain team is looking to hire a talented, driven, and highly analytical Supply Chain Manager with a proven record of utilizing data to drive business results. The successful candidate will be skilled at product forecasting, working with external partners to secure inventory, and managing across a broad supply chain to deliver results. This position is responsible for working with Tier-1 and Tail vendors across our console, software, and accessories businesses to optimize the end-to-end supply chain and improve inventory availability for customers. The position requires an individual who can work autonomously in a highly demanding environment and work quickly to react to new information.

Key job responsibilities
- Work directly with vendors to improve key operations metrics, including: confirmation rates, lead time, on-time delivery, and out of stock rates.

- Engage with central teams to drive process automation and system improvements.

- Manage new product launch workstreams for their vendors, working with key stakeholder teams to ensure inventory availability and placement ahead of street date.

- Perform root-cause analysis/reporting on operational issues, and then manage the solution to those issues.

- Develop Standard Operating Procedures for effective processes and knowledge transfer.

- Own & drive the roadmap for Vendor Operations metrics.

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously - work prioritization, planning, and task delegation.

- 4+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience- Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control
- Experience with SQL
- Experience working with complex data sets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
