Do you love building new strategic and data-driven businesses? Join the AWS Canada Specialty Sales organization as a Generative AI and Machine Learning Specialist Seller!

As a Principal Generative AI Sales Specialist, you will set and deliver the vision, strategy, and results for Generative AI adoption across Canada. Your role involves identifying high-value customer opportunities and becoming a trusted advisor to AWS customers. You will leverage your consultative expertise to guide customers in embedding and deploying AWS Generative AI solutions, unlocking new value streams and solving key business problems. With a passion for developing high-potential opportunities and executing effective strategies, you will participate in the full-cycle sales engagement plan, from identifying qualified leads to realizing revenue. You will help account teams craft and execute their plans while earning trust with Line of Business, Data Science, and IT personas, ensuring both customer vision and AWS revenue goals are achieved.

You will maintain an in-depth knowledge of AWS's Generative AI services and relevant cross-functional areas to build strong relationships with customers. By setting the strategy for adoption of cutting-edge Generative AI technologies, you will play a pivotal role in propelling AWS's revenue growth while helping customers stay ahead of the curve. You will conduct compelling executive conversations on the transformational possibilities of Generative AI and Data, articulating the "why" and "what" of use cases at a 200-level (minimum), with the detailed “how” being provided by Solutions Architects.


Key job responsibilities
• Set and own the strategy for customer adoption by defining and implementing tech domain specific sales strategies within your assigned territory/accounts. Your strategies will leverage AWS Sales, GTM, and our Partner community.
• Lead ideation with Line of Business and C-suite leaders, building trust with your deep technical expertise, and following through to help solve their most compelling business problems.
• Lead as the primary owner within your assigned territory/accounts for all specialist customer engagement in your tech domain.
• Define and own compelling value propositions and ROI frameworks that address the specific needs of your customers.
• Create and own sales motions on new product launches and work with product teams on the creation of innovative new services.
• Partner with System Integrators to deliver maximum customer value.
• Spearhead market expansion by identifying new customer segments and use cases.
• Drive organizational alignment and sales efforts across multiple lines of business.
• Own and synthesize voice-of-customer insights to inform product roadmaps and enhance the customer experience.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with account teams and customers.

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in enterprise software or cloud services.
- Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies, particularly in the realm of Generative AI.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in consultative selling and solution-based approaches to a variety of customer types including Enterprise, ISV, SMB, and Startup customers.- Direct experience selling AI/ML or Generative AI solutions.
- Understanding of key Generative AI use cases across various industries.
- Experience working with or selling to data science and machine learning teams.
- Knowledge of the competitive landscape in cloud-based AI/ML services.
- Track record of developing and executing strategic account plans for a variety of company types.
