Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) in partnership with Retail Business Services (RBS) are a paid B2B service that aims to help key Vendors partner with Amazon.
Vendor Consultant (VC) SME (Subject Matter Expert) will help shape and deliver on a strategy for managing key metric pillars for Amazon AVS vendors.
Soft Skills: bright, customer centric, driven, and creative. Vendor Constant will interface internally with leaders from RBS, Retail and Vendor Services teams and will be responsible for certain aspects of the vendor’s business with Amazon. Will engage directly with multiple internal teams to optimize business for key manufacturers (vendors) on Amazon.com.
Will conceive, create and analyze a wide range of data, to grow the vendor’s traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue on Amazon. Also, will look into strategic and operational aspects of their business with Amazon, root cause analysis of issues and opportunities affecting the vendor’s business. Vendor Consultant will be focused on the strategic and operational aspects of managing the customer relationships with our vendors.
Key job responsibilities
1. Provide complete Subject expertise including Knowledge creation, Standard Operating Procedure standardization, ensure comprehensive playbooks are in place for VCP.
2. Partner with multiple cross-functional teams (Retail Subject Matter Experts, EIM, IBSC) to discuss the metric strategy and disseminate the same across VCP
3. Create Control plans for the Program and monitor them on a weekly basis.
4. Perform root cause analysis on a weekly basis on the metrics and realign strategy based on outcomes.
5. Share Weekly Business Review call outs for Director reviews.
6. Prepare Monthly Business Review and provide detailed updates on the metric performance.
7. Serve as the strategic arm for VCP and work with Business POC’s to execute strategy for any GL/PF which is missing the goals.
8. Define clear Sprint mechanisms with clear communication on the actions and impact of the Sprint.
9. Work with cross Marketplace Partners and ensure Process standardization across WW VCP MP’s.
10. Drive inputs to improve standard operating procedures, and eliminate defects through process improvement or automation fixes by working with internal/external stakeholders.
11. Owns worldwide projects on metric deliverables, process optimization, defect eliminations, technical solutions.
12. Deliver defined business metrics and quality goals through comprehensive solutions design.- 3+ years of experience in Retail
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience handling projects using six sigma or Lean processes
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Knowledge of macros and data analytics
- Ability to drive process or procedure improvements
- Knowledge of tools such as Sharepoint, SIM-ticketing and project management tools as well as experience using scripts.
