Amazon Corporate FP&A seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Headcount Strategy team. This job will support Expansion Strategy and Corporate Headcount Planning Strategy by providing data driven insights, new reporting capabilities, and direct support to key business partners on key headcount metrics.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel capabilities, familiarity with data visualization / business intelligence technologies (i.e. Quicksight / Tableau, PowerBI), familiarity with financial reporting systems (i.e. Cognos / Essbase / Hyperion), and comfort turning data into insight for stakeholders across multiple functions and levels.

Key job responsibilities
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for total company headcount
- Build and maintain headcount and headcount-related expense reporting across multiple variables for diverse stakeholders
- Present data results and insights to broad stakeholders including Finance, Facilities, Public Policy, and other external-facing organizations
- Have ability to independently influence and drive outputs, meet deadlines, and set clear expectations and roadmaps.
- Understand how data flows through our financial platforms and know the right data to use for analysis, and establish a source of truth to stakeholder questions
- Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or dirty data
- Demonstrate high attention to detail across large data sets
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
