The Mid-Market Solution Consultant will be focused on the solution, design, implementation and support of the Upmarket customer.

This individual will serve as a technical resource and is expected to maintain the highest level of technical acumen on all Nextiva’s product offerings as well as all competitive industry offerings. This individual will be the technical lead of the Midmarket sales process while also being responsible for the coordination and application of additional sales resources which may include but are not limited to Product Subject Matter Experts, Account Management, Project Management and Professional Services.

Furthermore, this individual will be responsible for advancing Upmarket customer opportunities by creating unique technology strategies and solution designs based on customer goals, requirements and timelines.  Duties may include but are not limited to deep customer discovery, product demonstrations, pre-sale scoping, customer/partner enablement as well as planning for future goals and education surrounding future release product(s) or program(s).

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute thorough discovery of Midmarket customer requirements via calls, webinars and onsite visits
  • Lead the technical portion of active Midmarket Sales opportunities
  • Coordinate and work collaboratively with sales and other professional services teams
  • Develop third party relationships with vendors including maintaining most current product information and certifications
  • Create solutions that work for the customer, ensuring they are technically sound, business compatible and mutually beneficial
  • Foster National branding recognizing Nextiva as a Midmarket solution
  • Participate and complete learning modules on new features, industry trends, and other work development related topics
  • Obtain new logo accounts and key relationships for future growth
  • Collaborate with leadership for strategic efforts to increase upmarket growth and engagement

Qualifications

  • 6+ years’ experience in either technical engineering or technical sales
  • 3+ years in Midmarket sales or higher required
  • Working experience in IP, SIP, and VoIP, CCaaS, AI and Automation services is required
  • Ability to be a team player. Experience working in a team selling environment required
  • Basic understanding of LAN/ WAN technologies. Intermediate to advanced understanding preferred
  • Basic understanding of SaaS, UCaaS, and CCaaS solutions. Advanced knowledge preferred
  • Ability to present technically complex solutions to varying levels of technical and non-technical audiences using virtual and in person methodologies
  • Current understanding of industry standards. Competitive insight is a plus
  • An accomplished track record of working with all levels customers (i.e.. C- Level Executives, IT business professional, technical contacts as well as end users)
  • Must have strong skills in the following: communication, presentations, organization / time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quickly and efficiently
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Up to 50% travel required

Typical Office Environment: Requires extensive sitting with periodic standing and walking. May be required to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted. May be required to lift over 35 pounds using assistive device and/or team lift. Requires significant use of personal computer, phone and general office equipment. Needs adequate visual acuity, ability to grasp and handle objects. Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone.

Our compensation packages are tailored to each role and candidate's qualifications. We consider a wide range of factors, including skills, experience, training, and certifications, when determining compensation. We aim to offer competitive salaries or wages that reflect the value you bring to our team. Depending on the position, compensation may include base salary and/or hourly wages, incentives, or bonuses. 

The expected hiring range is $130,000 - $185,000, including annualized base salary and annualized target sales incentive. Some sales roles are paid hourly with overtime eligibility. A different level in the job hierarchy may apply to a specific candidate, resulting in a different hiring range.
