Overview:
The Category Manager will be responsible for leading the non- alcohol (& More) categories by driving product sales through assortment productivity, price optimization, promotional planning, cost negotiations, and product placement for GoBrands Retail (BevMo, Liquor Barn and Gopuff Walk In Liquor Stores). We are looking for an individual with an extensive knowledge of the Food, Beverage, Glassware and Giftware industries that is an opportunistic and product-focused Merchant capable of partnering with cross-functional partners (i.e. Supply Chain, Marketing, Planning, Business Development, and Digital Merchandising) to build strong assortments that surpass financial objectives. You also will work closely with the Alcohol Category Managers on our Retail Business to build comprehensive plans across all retail stores. A strong analytical background is imperative to be able to analyze data and pricing to develop and execute strategy. It will be imperative that this person demonstrate the problem-solving and analytical skills necessary to thrive in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment.
Gopuff takes pride in creative problem solving and in-person collaborating to make quick and informed decisions. This role, based on the West Coast (preferably in California), will have a hybrid work schedule, where you will be able to showcase your creativity and build strong relationships with teams in a cross functional manner.
