2025 ESG Compliance Summer Internship

The Point72 Compliance department is a team of compliance professionals that supports global investment and trading activities by establishing and enforcing the firm’s compliance policies, providing real-time advice, and conducting pre and post trade surveillance. Our team is essential to the success of Point72, and our compliance professionals are embedded in investment professional and investment services teams across the organization.  

 About the ESG Compliance Internship  

If you are interested in pursuing a career in ESG & Sustainability Compliance, the 10-week ESG Compliance Internship at Point72 will provide you with a valuable experience at a complex global firm. During the 10-week program you will gain exposure to: 

• Developing internal resources to monitor ESG factors 

• Evaluating impacts of global ESG regulation for asset managers  

• Understanding ESG risks and opportunities 

• Improving the firm’s operational environmental footprint globally 

• Creating internal ESG report and updates  

• Conducting research on sustainability priorities and best practices 

• Preparing instructional documents and training materials for relevant ESG initiatives 

 Summer Internship Program at Point72  

In addition to the learning and development you’ll receive in your day-to-day role with your team, as a part of our summer internship program you will:  

• Work alongside your fellow interns and be mentored by experienced professionals 

• Meet your peers through designated intern programming, volunteer opportunities, and social events 

• Attend sessions with senior leaders where they discuss their expertise and career paths 

• Get hands- on access to the wealth of tools and resources that Point72 employees use every day 

• Gain exposure to groups and functions with unique responsibilities and perspectives on our industry 

• Develop technical, writing, and presentation skills 

  What's required  

• Expected bachelor's degree in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment 

• Strong attention to detail 

• Passion for sustainability and ESG with related coursework a plus 

• Strong analytical, writing, verbal communication, and technical skills 

• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the team 

• Ability and willingness to conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity at all times 

• Commitment to the highest ethical standards

The annual base salary range for this role is $75,000 (USD), which does not include overtime compensation, discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
