We’re seeking a Mid Full-Stack Engineer to contribute to building scalable, high-performing solutions that enhance user experiences across our platform. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain user-facing components and reusable libraries, ensuring seamless functionality, scalability, and performance. Your work will help improve Paystand’s payment infrastructure by enabling faster, more reliable, and automated financial processes for businesses around the globe.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Contribute to the architecture and development of key user-facing components within Paystand’s blockchain-powered payment ecosystem, optimizing for performance, usability, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain scalable, reusable libraries and frameworks that drive the growth and complexity of Paystand’s web applications.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, engineers, and customer success teams to deliver exceptional user experiences that transform how businesses manage payments and accounts receivable (A/R).
• Participate in and lead code reviews, fostering a culture of technical excellence by promoting best practices, high-quality code, and continuous learning.
• Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating them into existing projects to enhance innovation and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the stability, security, and reliability of Paystand’s payment infrastructure.
• Champion process improvements by advocating for automation, continuous integration, and scalable development practices to support our rapid growth.

Requirements and qualifications: 

Experience: Minimum of 5 years building web, mobile-web, or hybrid mobile applications, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility and independence..

Technical Skills:

• Strong Computer Science and Software Engineering background.
• Proficiency in building highly scalable RESTful web services and APIs.
• Expertise in Node.js & Express.js (mandatory)
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES5 and higher).
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Angular.js (1-4), React, Vue.js, etc.
• Experience with preprocessor stylesheet languages like Sass & Less.

Bonus Skills:

• Expertise in HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of other web libraries and frameworks
• Deep understanding of front-end performance optimization strategies
• Proficiency in event-driven service architectures.
• Experience with message queueing technologies
• Familiarity with front-end build environments
• Deployment of one or more Bitcoin, Ethereum, or other crypto network nodes.
• Ownership of one or more digital currencies.
