About the Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on Building Repair Assistant to join our team in Etobicoke. In this role, you’ll handle repairs and maintenance around our facility to ensure everything runs smoothly. If you’re a handy, proactive problem-solver who enjoys fixing things, this is the perfect job for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic repairs on building systems (e.g., AC, heating, plumbing, electrical).
  • Fix walls, replace light bulbs, and handle minor facility upgrades.
  • Support production operations by maintaining equipment and tools.
  • Conduct routine inspections and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Assist with organizing tools, supplies, and maintenance materials.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience using basic hand and power tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, hammers).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and fix minor facility and equipment issues.
  • Physically capable of handling tasks like lifting and repetitive movements.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn on the job.
  • Team player with good communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Valid G driver’s license and access to your own vehicle.
  • Steel-toe shoes (mandatory).
  • Working at Heights or Forklift Operator’s Certificate (an asset, but not required).
