Job Overview

The Senior Product Manager (SPM) is a pivotal role within the product management team, responsible for leading the development and execution of key product features while participating in broader strategic initiatives. This role demands a deep understanding of the domain, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The SPM ensures that product features align with business objectives and exceed customer expectations, driving the product from concept through to execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy and Vision:
• Lead the development and management of key product features, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market demands.
• Participate in the creation and prioritization of product roadmaps, contributing to strategic discussions informed by customer needs and competitive analysis.
• Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
• Product Development and Execution:
• Lead the entire product life cycle for assigned features, from ideation through to launch, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.
• Lead the creation and maintenance of Feature Requirements Documents (FRDs) and user stories, guiding the engineering team in delivering on the product vision.
• Lead feature triad meetings and participate in product triad meetings to ensure alignment between engineering, design, and product teams, driving effective collaboration and timely delivery.
• Lead and define observability requirements, including metrics, logs, and tracing, to ensure end-to-end visibility in critical workflows.
• Lead and define GitHub-based workflow requirements for integration development, versioning, and deployment.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Participate in coordinating product launches with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure successful go-to-market execution.
• Participate in go-to-market activities, supporting the delivery of product features to the market and ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, providing clear updates on product status and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Customer Focus:
• Lead the delivery of the product roadmap in customer-facing settings, effectively communicating the strategic vision and gathering feedback.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and ensure the product roadmap addresses their pain points.
• Leverage customer insights and data analytics to refine product features and enhance the overall user experience.
• Engage actively in the Celigo Community, contributing to discussions and sharing product updates.
• Risk Management and Problem Solving:
• Participate in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks throughout the product development life cycle, ensuring smooth execution and delivery.
• Provide escalation management, anticipating potential roadblocks, and making data-driven decisions to balance competing priorities.

Skills and Qualifications

• Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience:
• 6+ years of product management experience, particularly within SaaS or iPaaS environments.
• Strong domain expertise in ERP, CRM, eCommerce, or similar SaaS/Cloud applications.
• Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex product life cycles.
• Hands-on experience with observability practices (monitoring, logging, tracing) and GitHub-based workflows, including CI/CD.
• Core Competencies:
• Strategic thinker with the ability to drive product vision and execution with minimal guidance.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Technical acumen with experience in software architecture and design, capable of leading deep technical discussions.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making, using analytics tools to inform product development.
• Strong understanding of observability principles (monitoring, logging, tracing) and their application to high-availability SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with Git-based deployment patterns, and integration lifecycle management.
• Leadership and Collaboration:
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams, driving successful product outcomes.
• Hands-on experience in conducting product triad meetings, managing FRD reviews, and ensuring alignment across teams.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment, delivering results under tight deadlines.

• Deep understanding of the integration domain, with experience in iPaaS or related platforms.
• Experience in SaaS platforms, with a focus on integration.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to travel occasionally for customer visits or team meetings
