More than 300 million customers shop in Amazon’s store, and every day, customers browse, purchase, and review products sold by third-party sellers right alongside products sold by Amazon. Since 2000, Amazon has offered this virtual shelf space to individuals and companies of all sizes, helping them reach hundreds of millions of customers, build their brands, and grow their business. Fast-forward to the present day, and these third-party seller products account for more than half of all units sold in our store. Expansion countries are currently in the process of intensifying their efforts, creating a dynamic and fast-paced environment to operate in.

THE TEAM & ROLE:
The Existing Seller Management (ESM) team drives growth and optimization for Amazon established Sellers in an increasingly complex e-commerce landscape filled with expanding opportunities. Through data-driven analysis and personalized support, we help Sellers maximize their potential across key business areas including promotional strategy and deal optimization, product selection expansion, international market entry, Amazon fulfillment program adoption, and catalog quality enhancement. We prioritize these focus areas through rigorous data analysis and a customer-centric approach, maintaining continuous communication with sellers to understand their needs and help them scale effectively on Amazon's global marketplace.
As a Key Account Manager, you will lead a portfolio of established Amazon sellers to drive strategic growth and excellence. Through building strong partnerships and leveraging data-driven insights, you will identify and unlock revenue opportunities across key business areas. Your success will come from combining analytical expertise with a customer-centric approach.


Key job responsibilities
1) Account Management & Growth
- Manage a portfolio of existing Amazon sellers
- Analyze account performance data to develop actionable growth strategies
- Conduct regular business reviews to track progress and adjust strategies
- Help sellers expand their product portfolio and reach across Amazon's marketplaces
2) Strategic Support
- Build a joint annual strategy with specific Sellers
- Provide solutions for operational challenges while maintaining focus on sustainable growth
3) Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within seller organizations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned sellers
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve seller issues and implement improvements
4) Program Development/Project management
- Identify and implement scalable solutions that benefit multiple sellers
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance seller experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new seller tools and resources
5) Become an Expert: Own a specific subject within our service organization with the goal to support peers, invent processes/tools to the benefit of our internal and external stakeholders, e.g. Branding, Fulfillment by Amazon, Hiring, Tools, Deals and a lot more

- Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Engineering or related degree required. Post-graduate education is recommended
- Preferably, work experience in top-tier level consulting, key account management, advertising sales, B2B, digital retail / ecommerce, Business Development, Digital Marketing, Brand Management, Supply Chain Management or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex concepts simply
- Strong analytical skills (including advanced excel and database analysis)
- Ability to drive successful projects with a wide range of people at all decision-making levels.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment
- Highly organized and results oriented- Fluent Swedish or Danish communication skills (both verbal and written)
- MBA from top tier institute is highly preferred
- Ability to work with legal, product, and internal business owners to reach mutually beneficial agreements
- Strong business judgment, proven ability to influence others
- Experience using CRM tools
- Creative, has initiative, and can constructively advocate on behalf of the customer
- Experience in retail and/or a technology / eCommerce business preferred but not essential
