 Responsibilities

  • Managing the scope of software & infrastructure-driven projects (Full Project Lifecycle)
  • The successful candidate will liaise between all technology and non technology departments, for the success of the overall project and delivery of the project within the agreed time, scope, and budget
  • Generating and maintaining accurate project documentation (spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps) and project plans (MS Project/JIRA/Confluence/Visio, etc.)
  • Managing overall technical project schedules by developing and tracking project objectives, project milestones, resources, and timelines
  • Managing risks, constraints, dependencies and resolving issues that affect scope, schedule, budget and quality of the projects
  • Engaging in internal and external meetings to gather project requirements and preparing detailed summaries to share with the engineering, operations, and trading teams
  • Coordinating and controlling the execution of other support groups' tasks during release activities including release reviews, pre-deployment meetings, and checklist reviews
  • Leading and coordinating the Go-Live activities 
  • Participating in project, and program retrospectives as well as providing detail on inefficiencies, mistakes, successes, and proposed improvements
  • Planning and coordinating activities for physical work in a data center (physical hardware and network installations) 

Qualifications

  • At least 4-5 years experience in a Project Management role
  • Project management certification like PMP or Prince preferred 
  • Possess a highly analytical and strategic mindset with a strong ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills
  • Great written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong networking skills within the industry and ability to build relationships with key contacts
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure (server, storage platforms) and Networking concepts, AWS/Azure or other cloud platforms
  • Server and Linux skills preferable
  • Knowledge about financial markets
  • Knowledge of Data Center/ Colocation design , buildout, migration a plus
  • Knowledge of C++, Java, git/gerrit is a plus
  • Experience with databases, Kibana and ElasticSearch a plus
  • Knowledge of a scripting language (Shell or Python) a plus

Anticipated annual base salary range $155,000- $200,000, plus eligible for discretionary bonus.
