Your Role:
Work to drive revenue growth through effective strategic and tactical leadership of sales engineers. Hire, train, and equip the right sales engineering team to achieve sales goals and customer success. Work across the Tenable organization to promote and influence sales priorities.
Your Opportunity:
Develop technical resources needed to support aggressive revenue goals by leading sales engineers within the assigned region
Engage with sales leadership to closely align sales engineering resources with sales strategy and goals
Communicate with leadership across Tenable to understand go to market strategy and translate into actionable activity
Ensure the sales engineering team is proficient with all products and related technical and non-technical skills needed to support selling efforts
Understand customer success and work with sales engineering team to capture and align sales efforts with defined success criteria
Deliver annual performance reviews by observing and working within teams to understand strengths and weaknesses of individual sales engineers
Manage performance and key talent closely to ensure all necessary actions to retain top talent are known and acted upon
Conduct regular reviews with individual sales engineers to ensure excellence of demo delivery and proof of concept management
Provide feedback and communication to sales management on any issues impacting sales
May perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.
Oversees deal inspections, ensuring solutions align with client needs while providing strategic insights to support successful sales outcomes.
Assist in the development of sales tools, training materials, and marketing content.
Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars to represent the company and our solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
Contribute to the overall sales strategy and provide insights into market opportunities.

What You'll Need:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate complex ideas
Ability to challenge and lead diverse groups of people toward their peak performance
10+ years in sales engineering
Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time
Some travel may be required
