Trading Production Systems Engineer

Your future role within QRT:

• We are seeking a Trading Production Systems Engineer with strong Python skills to manage and optimize our trading infrastructure. This role involves real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and automation in a fast-paced trading environment. Experience with C++ is a plus.

  • Oversee and monitor trading systems for performance and reliability.
  • Use Python for troubleshooting, automation, and optimizing trading workflows.
  • Resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Automate deployments, monitoring, and performance reports using Python.
  • Implement system updates and patches with minimal impact on trading.
  • Collaborate with quant teams to align trading strategies with production needs.
  • Maintain system documentation, disaster recovery plans, and capacity forecasts.

Your present skill set:

• • Strong Python skills for automation and systems management.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix, low-latency trading platforms, and network protocols.
  • Familiarity with trading systems, exchange protocols, and market data feeds.
  • Experience with real-time monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
  • C++ experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (CI/CD, automation) is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years managing trading production systems
